Frequently Asked Questions
Do the Chalets have Wi-Fi?
Yes, we do. We have satellite internet due to very limited telephone reception. We will provide the password to guests upon request. This service is for individuals to make calls, check emails, or other essential tasks. This service is not for streaming movies/shows, or other services that use large amounts of data.
Can you swim in the lake?
Yes, but the water is very deep, therefore children must have adult supervision. We have a few small boats to use. Absolutely no fishing allowed.
Is there any alternative transport available in Dwellingup?
Yes, you can be collected from here and dropped off at a function venue, then picked up when you are ready to come home. Dwellingup Transfers (0473 924 681) have an 11 passenger vehicle and have proved to be very reliable. If you require larger vehicles, please contact us.
Do the Chalets have log fires?
Following the bushfires in 2007 we decided to replace the wood fires and evaporative coolers with reverse cycle air conditioning instead which is much cleaner, and more effective. We do have a small campfire site which is available subject to weather conditions/fire bans etc. We have plenty of sticks and twigs to collect around the Chalets, but the local IGA and the service station sell wood by the bag.
Can we have visitors?
Due to many problems in the past we can only provide accommodation and our facilities to our paying guests and may have to decline admittance to any unauthorised visitors.
